Giveaway — Defender of the Realm by Nick Ostler and Mark Huckerby: books one and two

The first book in this brilliant new series by Nick Ostler and Mark Huckerby, Defender of the Realm, was long-listed for the 2017 Branford Boase Award, and short-listed for The Brilliant Book Award (February 2017) and the Stockton Children’s Book of the Year (March 2017). About the authors 

Nick Ostler and Mark Huckerby are an Emmy-winning and BAFTA-nominated writing partnership who have scripted a host of flagship children’s TV shows, including Danger Mouse, Peter Rabbit, Shaun the Sheep and Thunderbirds Are Go!

Their debut fantasy adventure book series for 8-12 year olds, Defender of the Realm has been called ‘A thrilling mash-up of history and fantasy’ by Kirkus Reviews, was long listed for the 2017 Branford Boase Award. It was WH Smiths children’s book of the month, April 2017. The second book in the series Defender of the Realm: Dark Age! was published on 1st June 2017 by Scholastic.
